Pantai Ngliyep terletak di Desa Kedungsalam, Kecamatan Donomulyo, Kabupaten Malang. Where is Mount Bromo?
The mountain can be reached in four regencies: Malang, Lumajang, Ponorogo, and Pasuruan. The most common gateway is from Malang or Surabaya, which both offer transportation services and tour packages to the mountain. The closest village to the park is Cemoro Lawang, which provides access to jeep tours and viewpoints.
Best Time to Visit
Best time to visit Bromo is during the dry season, from May to September, when skies are clear blue and sunrise as plain as the nose on your face. Most tours start early in the morning around 2-3 AM so travelers can reach the Penanjakan Viewpoint before dawn to catch the sunrise.
How to Get There
From Malang, it takes about 3-4 hours by car or jeep. Many local tour guides offer sunrise packages that include transportation, guide services, and entrance tickets. Jeeps are usually used to cross the Sea of Sand and reach the base of the crater.
