History of Pentungan Sari

Pentungan Sari began as an initiative of Glatik village residents to develop their local potential, both in the natural, agricultural and cultural sectors. Since being managed by BUMDesa Arjuno since 2017, the area was originally a former coffee and rice field, then turned into a natural bath after residents utilized the Glatik source. The pool and facilities were developed gradually to become a complete recreation area.

Where is Pentungan Sari Located?

Located in Glatik, Toyomarto Village, Singosari District, Malang Regency, approximately 30–45 minutes from downtown Batu or Malang.

  • Pentungan Sari is also known as community-based cultural and educational tourism.
  • The name “Pentungan” comes from the traditional bamboo musical instrument used in folk art performances.
  • Pentungan Sari has three swimming pools with water directly from Glatik Spring.

  • The entrance ticket price ranges from IDR 5,000-8,000.
  • Motorcycle parking is IDR 2,000, car is IDR 5,000.
  • Crowded time on weekends, can be visited weekdays for a more quiet atmosphere.
  • Bring a jacket because the morning temperature is quite cold, as well as a change of clothes and swimming gear.
  • Wear comfortable shoes or sandals for walking out of the pool, and bring a camera to capture the natural atmosphere.
